ZION NATIONAL PARK | Springdale, UT | 10/15-16/25

2 days in Zion was not long enough!! It rained part of the 1st day so we couldn’t do some of the hikes that we planned but we were able to drive the beautiful Mount Carmel-Zion Hwy thru the 1 mile tunnel then hiked the canyon overlook trail with our raincoats the 1st day. The 2nd day we E-biked for 8hrs!! It was soooo much fun!! Thr paved Pa’rus trail was beautiful to ride around. We hiked the lower Emerald pools, part of Weeping rock trail, and part of the Riverfront trail. Zion is so beautiful and the weather was awesome during fall! We were unable to hike the narrows (mommy’s bucket list hike) because of the rain the day before, there was a probable flash flood warning in all the slot canyons and we didn’t wanna chance it. The flow of the river was also too fast for little me! Definitely need to go back!!!!

We stayed at Silo Suites in La Verkin…25min to the park. It was the perfect commute. River Rock Roasting Co was 2min away from our AirBnB and the food there for breakfast/brunch was delicious plus the view was beautiful too! Dinner at Main Street Cafe and Wild Thyme also didn’t dissapoint!

Rainy drive at the Mount Carmel-Zion scenic hwy to the tunnel but the rain still made it so beautiful!

Time to hike Canyon Overlook. It was drizzling and I loved all the puddles and mud I could play with on the way up! It took us forever because I kept stopping ang wanted to play with mud and make mud balls!

Made it to the top!!!

Scenic drive back to our AirBnb and dinner…

Wiggled a tooth out in this trip!!!

Clear day on our 2nd day. We woke up early and rented E-bikes for the day. I rode behind daddy in the E-wagon while we followed mommy to the trailheads. It was an adventure!!

Started at the Pa’rus trail with beautiful views of Zion.

Took a snack break, potty break, and a “find a stuffy friend” break at the Zion lodge before hiking Emerald pools. I found my perfect stuffy dog “Zion!” We had a great rest of the trip adventuring together!

Never really made it to the top of Weeping Rock trail becauseI just wanted to play at this creek by the trailhead.I loved looking for cool and interesting rocks and having leaf races down the river bend.

Shuttle stop 9 is Temple of Siniwava…the trailhead to the Narrows. Mommy was so sad we couldnt hike the Narrows but promised to be back to conquer it! We explored the Riverside Walk instead.

Thumbs up for a spectacular day!!

Time for some yummy dinner in Springdale! Wild Thyme had some great views at thier outside seating.

We loved our stay at the cow themed Silo Suites!!

…Zion, you are beautiful! We will be back! Now…time for our last day in Kanab, UT!
